Crowd1 Review

Welcome to my Crowd1 Review.

You’re probably here because you have heard some amazing things about this company, or someone you know has invited you to join their team.

Whatever the case may be, you’re probably looking to know more about this company and whether or not it’s a scam.

Well within my review today, I’ll be discussing who is running this company, how their compensation plan works, what they are selling, and most importantly if I think it’s a legit opportunity.

So with that said, let’s jump into it!

Quick Summary Of Crowd1

Name: Crowd1

Website: Crowd1.com

Price: €99 EUR ( $107.02 Dollars ) – €2,499 EUR ( $2,701.44 Dollars )

Rating: 0 out of 5

What Is Crowd1?

Crowd1 is an MLM ( multi level marketing ) company that claims they have a huge networking platform full of different types of software.

They also say their goal is to help people all around the world by providing digital equality — but this has not always been the case.

For the past several years they said they were an online gaming platform that was partnered with a company named Premier Bet.

However last year Norway was investigating Crowd1 for fraudulent activities, and Premier Bet said they had nothing to do with this company.

The CEO of the company ( Jonas Werner ) then quickly deleted anything and everything that was game related on his site and made a statement that they had recently been acquired by a European company — Impact Crowd Technology S.L.

So basically it sounds like this company never had anything really for sale, if they can switch their products that quickly.

What Does Crowd1 Sell?

As I just mentioned, Crowd1 says that it is a networking platform with a library of digital items like apps and software for people to buy.

However as you’re about to find out, they in reality have nothing at all for sale.

This is because the only way you can make money with this company is by recruiting people into their membership rather than selling their so called amazing software.

Crowd1 Compensation Plan

Now as with almost every MLM company, their compensation plan can be very confusing to understand — and Crowd1 is no different with a PDF 33 pages long talking about how it works.

So to keep you from reading the entire thing and being left with a headache — I will cover the main points that I think you should need to know.

Affiliate Ranks

Altogether there are 4 Ranks you can earn within Crowd1 — and they claim with each rank you’ll be able to earn more money with your investment.

  • White – You’ll need to invest €99 EUR ( $107.96 Dollars )
  • Black – You’ll need to invest €299 EUR ( $326.06 Dollars )
  • Gold – You’ll need to invest zEUR ( $871.31 Dollars )
  • Titanium – You’ll need to invest €2499 EUR ( $2,725.16 Dollars )

So as you can see, it’s not cheap to sign up for this company — and they claim that the higher the rank you purchase, the more money you’ll be able to make.

And this actually reminded me of a company I reviewed last month called MarketPeak — which promised you a certain ROI based on how much money you put into the company.

Of course this is nothing but a ploy to get you to spend more money so that the top members and the CEO of the company can get richer.

Residual Commissions

This company’s compensation structure is a binary one — meaning that everyone you recruit into your team will be split into two different sides. One on your left, and one of your right.

Crowd1 Review - Binary compensation structure

Now Crowd1 uses a point system to determine how much you’ll make — and based on what package your referral bought will determine how many points you will earn.

Here is how many points each rank will pay you…

White = 90 points

Black = 270 points

Gold = 720 points

Titanium = 2250 points

Also know that for every 10 points you earn equals €1.

So now that you know how their point system works, let’s talk about how you’ll be earning money when you recruit someone.

Crowd1 uses what is called a 1/3 balance ratio to determine your commissions.

So anyone that signs up on your weaker leg will have their volume tripled for the stronger side — then you’ll earn 10% of what this total volume comes out to be.

Confused? Ya I don’t blame you. Here’s a short example to explain it better for you

Crowd1 Review - residual income

If you recruited a titanium affiliate and had him placed on your weaker side, you would then earn 2,250 points.

Then once you multiply that by 3 you now have 6,750 points.

So all together you now have a total of 9,000 points. And when you take 10% of those points it comes out to 900 points — which equals  €900 EUR ( $981.45 Dollars ).

Bonuses

Also within this company you are able to get a lot of bonuses such as…

Matching Bonus:

This bonus is paid out in a unilevel structure, meaning everyone you recruit will be directly beneath you — and you will be able to earn a small percent of all their commissions.

Crowd1 Review - Unilevel compensation structure

Now this bonus is capped out at 5 levels, and the amount of money you can make is based on which package you bought when you sign up and how many people you recruit.

Here is the breakdown of how much you can earn from each rank with this bonus:

Crowd1 Review - Matching Bonus

White Rank = You need to recruit 4 people to earn 10% on level 1

Black Rank = You need to recruit 8 people to earn 10% on levels 1 – 2

Gold Rank = You need to recruit 16 people to earn 10% on levels 1 – 4

Titanium Rank = You need to recruit 20 people to earn 10% on levels 1 – 5

Now there are a few other bonuses and prizes you can earn with this company, however I don’t feel like boring you with the details about this.

But if you want to know more about them, you can view their entire compensation plan here.

How Much Does It Cost?

As I mentioned earlier within their compensation plan, you’ll need to buy 1 of 4 different packages to become an affiliate with this company.

  1. White – €99 EUR ( $107.02 Dollars )
  2. Black – €299 EUR ( $323.22 Dollars )
  3. Gold – €799 EUR ( $863.73 Dollars )
  4. Titanium – €2,499 EUR ( $2,701.44 Dollars )

What I Like About It

  • I could not find anything I liked about this company

What I Don’t Like About It

  • There’s no information about the CEO on their website

When I’m reviewing a company / program, one of the first things I always try to look for is who the CEO is.

However there was not a single shred of information on who the owner of Crowd1 was on their website.

However when this company was being investigated for doing fraudulent activities — it was revealed that the CEO of Crowd1 was Jonas Erik Werner’s.

But what was really interesting is that he made a guy by the name of Johan Staël von Holstein act as the fake CEO.

So now it makes total sense as to why there’s no information about the true owner of Crowd1 on their website, because he doesn’t want his name associated with this scam that is constantly under investigation.

  • It has been banned in several countries

To make matters worst for this company, several countries have already banned it from being promoted in their country.

For example on February 21, 2020 — the Bank of Namibia issued a lawsuit against Crowd1 basically stating that they are nothing but a Ponzi Scheme.

Crowd1 Review - Bank of Namibia lawsuit

Here is a short quote of exactly what they had to say about this company…

“Crowd1 does not sell tangible products or render any service of essential value, but the primary source of income for Crowd1 is the sales of membership packages to new members. Given the above, it is evident that the business model of Crowd1 Network Limited is not sustainable and will result in members of the public, especially those at the bottom of the scheme, losing their money.”

You can view an article here where it talks more in depth on the reasons why Namibia has banned this company.

  • It business model sets you up for failure

Even if Crowd1 was a legit company with real products for sale, they are using an MLM business model which already sets you up to fight an uphill battle.

I say this because it is extremely hard to recruit people into your team, and even harder to teach them how to sell whatever you’re promoting effectively.

This is why 99% of all people who join this type of business end up failing, and is the very reason why you will never see me part of one.

Is Crowd1 A Scam?

I don’t like to call a company a scam unless I’m absolutely sure, but in this case it was a pretty easy call.

With the CEO placing some random guy in his place so people won’t find out his true identity, plus with this company not selling any real products — it’s clear that this is nothing but a simple Ponzi Scheme.

But you don’t have to take my word for it. Several other countries are already saying the same thing such as…

  • Namibia
  • Spain
  • Norway
  • And the Philippines

And these countries are taking this so seriously that some of them will put it’s citizens in prison for up to 20 years if they catch them promoting this company!

My Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, it’s clear that Crowd1 is nothing but a scam through and through.

The company is under multiple lawsuits, several countries have already banned this product from being promoted, and it has no real product or service for sale.

But even if all that were not true, they are using an MLM business model that forces people to build large teams in order to make a decent income ( which is extremely hard ).

So unless you have an outgoing personality and strong leadership qualities — the chances of you achieving this is literally 1%.

This is why I prefer affiliate marketing to generate income online.

There’s no recruiting whatsoever, you can sell whatever products you want, and best of all is you don’t have to spend a dime on advertising to generate an income online.

You simply create helpful content that will point people towards products that they already are looking for  — then get paid a small commission each time they buy something.

  1. I came across Crowd1 the other day, and was wondering what is it all about. Ouch, Crowd1 is pricey to join and this is just a software based product. It is strange that the owner is nowhere to be found on the website as well, how can we build the trust and join this company. I will stay away from this program, thanks for the warning.

    • Ya it’s hard to trust in a program that can change their “product” line within a few days, as well as have no information as to who created it.

But this is typically a common red flag you’ll find when dealing with scams, and is one of the major reasons why I would urge everyone not to join this company.

A big thanks to you for sharing this unbiased review on Crowd1 platform. You’re very correct a friend of mine actually introduced me to this platform so I decided to research more on it. It’s very clear that it’s a scam platform, I am basically not a fan of recruiting downlines. This system is definitely not a take for me.

    Thanks, this review helped me.

    • I’m very glad my review could help give you the information you were looking for, and even happier that you decided not to join this company.

Because it is indeed a scam, and worst yet is that you can be severally punished in some countries for promoting it.

    • Thank you for the kind words Evans, and I’m very happy to hear that my reviews have helped you out.

Because at the end of the day this is what brings me the most joy — which is helping people make proper decisions that will help change their life in a positive way.

And one way I go about doing this is by revealing to people what programs are legit and which ones are scams.

So I think you can see without a doubt that Crowd1 is indeed a scam and not something you should join. However if you are wanting to learn how to earn a real income online, I think you’d be interested in my #1 program called Wealthy Affiliate.
