Chances are you’re here either because you accidentally stumbled upon this company, or someone has asked you to join their team.
So now you’re wondering is Everra a scam or a legit business opportunity that will make me a lot of money?
Well within my review today I’ll be answering these questions for you, along with some other ones like what this company is selling, how their compensation plan works, how much it costs to join, and more.
So let’s jump into things and see what this company is all about!
Quick Summary Of Everra
Price: $34 to join
Rating: 1 out of 5
What Is Everra?
Everra is an MLM company that launched earlier in 2020, which sells different kinds of cosmetic and beauty supplies.
The CEO of the company is a guy named Christopher Welch.
Now I won’t get into a lot of details about him right now, but let’s just say he has had kind of a shady background when it comes to running an online business — and it doesn’t look like he’s changed his ways too much with this company here.
Anyways, Everra claims their mission is to “empower and amplify” people throughout the world with high quality products and an opportunity to change their financial life for the better.
But can they really make their vision become a reality, or is this just a hyped up sales pitch made to get you to join their company?
Now while I believe Everra has good intentions for anyone who wants to try this opportunity out, I don’t believe many will succeed due to a few specific reasons which I’ll be explaining more about in a second.
What Does Everra Sell?
Similar to a company I reviewed a while back called Perfectly Posh, Everra sells around 14 different cosmetic products on their site such as…
- Eye mascara
- Lip gloss
- And more
The prices for these products range from $ 14 – $70 at the time of writing this review.
Now seeing as I’m a guy, I can’t really say how good these products are because honestly this looks like ordinary makeup my wife would buy at a Walmart or some beauty store.
However I will mention that I watched a few videos on YouTube of ladies claiming that these products were amazing and that they “changed their life forever”.
But honestly I would take reviews like this with a grain of salt, simply due to the fact that these videos were created before the company even launched.
So again are these products any good? Maybe, maybe not.
But the real question you should be asking yourself is can you make money selling them.
And while I wouldn’t say it’s impossible — the chances of generating a decent income through this company is going to be very unlikely.
Everra Compensation Plan
Now before I get into all the reasons as to why I think it will be hard to succeed with this company, I want to first talk about its compensation plan.
Because if you’ve ever read or joined an MLM before, then you know that their plans are VERY confusing and can take what feels like hours to decipher how much money you can make.
So to make things easier for you, I will highlight the basics of how their entire plan is laid out.
There are 12 ranks you can earn within Everra. However there is no name associated with the ranks, so you’re just given a number.
Here are the qualifications on what it takes to reach each of these ranks:
- Rank 1 = $50 in sales
- Rank 2 = $500 in total career sales
- Rank 3 = 2 active legs with a total sales volume of $300
- Rank 4 = 4 active legs with a total sales volume of $1,000
- Rank 5 = 4 active legs with a total sales volume of $2,000
- Rank 6 = 6 active legs with a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 7 = 6 active legs with 1 rank 6 team member, and a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 8 = 6 active legs with 2 rank 6 team members, and a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 9 = 6 active legs with 4 rank 6 team members or 2 rank 7 team members, plus a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 10 = 6 active legs with 4 rank 7 team members or 2 rank 8 team members, plus a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 11 = 6 active legs with 4 rank 8 team members or 2 rank 9 team members, plus a total sales volume of $4,000
- Rank 12 = 6 active legs with 4 rank 9 team members or 2 rank 10 team members, plus a total sales volume of $4,000
So basically to get a higher rank, you’ll have to make more sales and recruit more people into your team each month.
However as you can see this gets extremely difficult the higher you go — and in fact it’s so hard that about 95% of everyone who joins this company will never make it past rank 3!
If you’re ranked 1, you’ll earn 25% on all sales you make to a customer. However if you’re rank 2 – 12 your percent will then jump up to 30%.
Everra’s compensation plan uses a unilevel compensation structure — which means everyone you recruit will be directly beneath you.
So when you recruit someone they will then be on your first level, then if someone on your first level recruits someone they will now be on your second level — and so on and so forth.
Now Everra’s plan only goes 3 levels deep, and you can earn anywhere between 10% – 14% based on what rank you are.
Also as with almost every MLM on the planet, there are several bonuses you can earn based on what rank you are and how many sales you make a month.
For example Everra has what is called a Group Bonus, where if you are Rank 6 or higher you’ll earn 3% commissions on all retail sales you make.
Also with their Rank Bonus, you can earn a 1 time fee of anywhere between $100 – $2,000 dollars depending on which rank you just obtained.
Now again this is just a brief overview of how this company’s compensation plan works and the bonuses they offer.
However if you want more details into this, you can check out their entire compensation plan here.
Also you can watch this 35 minute video that demonstrates more about it as well.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost to join Everra is only $34. However the catch is you’ll only be given eye mascara to sell.
So what they do is allow you to pick any additional products and however many you want to add to your collection.
Now I clicked on just a few of the other products to add to my cart, and I was already at about $300.
So I can easily see where if you weren’t careful, you could quickly spend several hundred if not thousands of dollars joining this company.
What I Like About It
- It doesn’t cost a lot to join
One of the things I liked about this MLM right away was that the cost to join it was extremely cheap. Because right at $34 dollars is the normal amount the average person would spend going out to eat.
Now take it that you probably will want to spend a little extra money on more products when you are joining — but overall this MLM is 100 times cheaper than some other ones I’ve reviewed in the past.
What I Don’t Like About It
- This company is in a very competitive niche
One of the major drawbacks of joining this company is that they have positioned themselves in one of the most saturated markets in the entire world.
Because what’s the real benefit of buying cosmetic supplies from this company versus going down to your local beauty store and buying the same thing?
And to make matters worse, at the time of writing this review they don’t have very many products up for sale compared to some other MLM’s out there.
For example I quickly looked at Mary Kay’s products ( another cosmetic MLM ), and I easily counted over 100 different items they were selling on their site.
So with this company being both in a super competitive niche along with not having a big inventory is not a good recipe for success in my opinion.
- The CEO is labeled as a scammer
While looking at some reviews about this company on Glassdoor, I came across several comments of people calling Christopher Welch a scammer.
According to them, Chris used to be involved with a company called Naativ — which was an online platform that let people teach English to people around the world.
And what happened was these teachers weren’t getting paid a dime — even though they were doing work week in and week out on this platform.
So instead of Christopher stepping up and trying to see why this was happening, he apparently left the company without telling anyone — almost as if he was escaping a sinking ship.
Then to make matters worse, they said he even went as far as to threaten to take legal action against anyone who was calling Naativ a scam.
So I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I would feel comfortable joining a company with a person who did this in the past.
- The chances of earning a good income are low
Whether we’re talking about Everra here or some other company, the truth is that 99% of all people who join an MLM end up failing.
And this is primarily due to the fact that this business model relies heavily on you not just being able to recruit people into your team — but teaching these same people how to successfully market as well.
Unfortunately not many people are able to do this, and the ones that are capable don’t feel like putting in the work.
Is Everra A Scam?
Everra is definitely not a scam, pyramid scheme, or anything of that nature — due to the fact that you can sell their products directly to customers to earn an income.
However with that said, I would be very cautious about joining this opportunity since the CEO seems to have a shady background, and the fact that you’ll be joining one of the most competitive niches in the world through a company that has almost no inventory.
So I would strongly suggest you think it over before you make any final decisions, and if it were up to me I would avoid it at all costs since I know there are easier and more profitable ways to make money online.
But I’ll leave it in your hands to decide what you want to do.
My Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Everra is a legit MLM business that anyone can join and possibly make money from.
The problem though is that in all reality you’ll probably be making less than you would be by working at Mcdonalds.
And this is not because this company is in a competitive niche, or the CEO is labeled a scammer, but due to the fact that it’s using an MLM business structure.
What I mean by that is your entire income is based not upon your efforts, but by how successful your team is at marketing the company you’ve joined.
And I don’t know about you, but the idea that I can work my butt off and possibly still make close to nothing is not something that sounds appealing.
This is why I prefer affiliate marketing to generate an income online.
There’s no recruiting whatsoever, you can sell whatever products you want, and you don’t have to spend a dime on advertising.
You simply create helpful content that points people towards products they’re already looking for — then you get paid a commission each time they buy something.
