Is Gold Opinions A Scam

Can you really make $15 – $50 a survey, or is Gold Opinions a scam out to steal your money?

Within my review today I’ll be explaining what you’ll find if you join this program, how it works, and most importantly if you can earn enough to quit your job like they claim you can on their sales page.

So without any further ado, let’s get into it.

Quick Summary Of Gold Opinions

Name: Gold Opinions

Price: $1 for 7-days trial, then $27/month

Rating: 0 out of 5

What Is Gold Opinions?

Gold Opinions is a website where you can earn money by taking surveys and expressing your opinion about certain topics.

Now according to the sales page, it has paid more than $8million dollars to its members, and it can also help you earn thousands of dollars each and every month by doing these simple little surveys.

Now I’ve reviewed quite a few survey sites over the years and I’ll admit this is the first time I’ve ever heard of one claiming to pay this amount of money to people for doing them.

So I thought I’d do some more research to see if these claims were true, and let’s just say that I wasn’t surprised by what I found out later on.

How Does Gold Opinions Work?

Before you can even begin you first will need to sign up to Gold Opinions ( which is $1 dollar than $27 dollars every month after that ) — then also tell them that you are at least 18 years or older.

After you’ve done this, you’ll be able to access the member’s area and start answering surveys. However what you’ll find is probably going to surprise you

You see once inside, you’ll basically be offered a bunch of third-party companies to join where you’ll have to sign up all over again and take surveys on their site to make money.

In short, Gold Opinions is a middleman that puts together a collection of legitimate survey sites all into one place for you to easily access.

Then every time you sign up to once of these sites and take a survey not only will you make a few bucks but Gold Opinions will as well.

How Much Can You Make?

Gold Opinions claims you can make anywhere between $5 – $50 dollars per survey, and eventually earn enough to quit your job or pay for a very nice vacation.

However the reality as with ALL survey sites, is you will earn just a couple bucks or less per survey — and that’s if you don’t get screened out before you finish them.

So the way I see it, Gold Opinions is basically hyping up their website making you think you can mindlessly answer dumb questions all day and be rewarded thousands of dollars just so well sign up and help make them more money.

Gold Opinions Red Flags

Their Home Page Is Misleading

The first major issue with Gold Opinions is that they completely lie as to how much money you can make through their website.

Is Gold Opinions A Scam - misleading home page

Because I can tell you right now that it’s not possible to earn $5 – $30 dollars for doing a 15-minute survey every single day. Now I’ll grant it that you can get them once in a while, but on average you’re looking at only earning a few cents.

I mean if you could really sit down and earn $30 bucks for doing a quick survey, don’t you think everyone would be doing this very simple task to make a ton of money?

I know I would, but again this is just a pipe dream they are trying to sell to you.

It Lies About Being A Survey Site

Not only will you not make big bucks through this site, but you’re also not even taking surveys on their site to begin with!

As I explained earlier, what your signing up to is nothing more than a middleman site that will redirect you to other sites that you will be taking the real surveys on.

And If you simply type into Google “ best survey sites “ — you can find a few dozen of really great ones in a matter of seconds.

So why waste your time and money on this site when you can do it for free?

Fake Credentials

If trying to trick you into thinking you can make thousands of dollars through their site wasn’t bad enough, they go one step further and try to prove that they have been featured on big platforms.

You’ll see at the very top of the sales page that they have the logos of Yahoo, MSNBC, and more — just so you’ll think they are the real deal and that you can trust them.

Is Gold Opinions A Scam - Fake Credentials

However the reality is you can not trust them because they simply lie about everything on their sales page including being on these platforms just so you’ll give them more money.

If you don’t believe me, simply search for it yourself and you’ll see that never once has this program been promoted anywhere.

Fake Testimonials

Another sign I noticed right away as I was reviewing this program was that all the testimonials on the sales page were fake.

If you simply do a reverse image lookup of these people, you’ll see that they use the same people on multiple sites — and worst of all is many of these sites look EXACTLY like this one here.

And a program like this one here likes to make it seem they are “real” people so that you will be persuaded into thinking you can make good money like them.

You Have To Pay To Join Their Site

Something that almost shook me out of my chair is when I heard you had to pay to join this website.

And not just pay a one time fee, but you’ll have a recurring commission of $27 dollars a month!

Now they claim they do this so that you will keep 100% of your earning instead of them taking 20-30% of your earning like all other survey sites do. However this is a complete lie.

According to Wikipedia, and every other legit survey site I’ve come across — you NEVER have to pay to join their site and it should only ask you some basic questions about yourself in order to sign up.

Is Red Flags A Scam?

I don’t normally like saying this, but I have to say without any hesitation that Gold Opinions is indeed a scam.

Between them making you have to pay a monthly fee to join their site, to them giving out fake testimonials on their site, and worst of all not even being a survey site to begin with — I see zero reason what so ever for you to join them.

If however you are wanting to find a real survey site to try, I would suggest you try Swagbucks which offers several ways for you to earn money and best of all it’s FREE to try out.

Again though don’t expect it to make you a lot of money, but it can help you earn a few extra bucks that can add up over time.

What I Like About It

  • There’s a 60-day money-back guarantee

What I Don’t Like About It

  • You have to pay a monthly fee to join it
  • This is not a real survey site
  • It uses fake testimonials and credentials to trick you into joining
  • It hypes up their sales page and gives you unrealistic claims as to how much you can make

My Final Rating

If you are looking to try and earn some extra cash by doing surveys, Gold Opinions is NOT the way to go.

They tell nothing but lies on their website in order to trick you to singing up, then if by chance you do join you’ll have to pay a monthly fee to continue being part of it.

And honestly there are far better ones out there that are free to join, and offer a lot of fun ways to make money like actually playing games and watching videos!

But I want to remind you that ALL survey sites will only earn you a few extra bucks a month, nothing more. And if anyone of them claims otherwise I would turn the other way and run because it’s nothing but a scam.

  1. I’ve been doing research about Gold Opinions and it seems that taking online surveys is not the best way to earn consistent revenue online, as you have described. In fact, I’ve also tried Swagbucks before and I can only earn a few dollars on a weekly basis so I will probably stick with another way to earn money online. You’ve confirmed what I was already thinking, thank you.

    • Thanks for your input Jonath, and I’m glad to see you that you can understand that paid surveys aren’t worth doing due to how little money you can make with them.
