Is Oneopinion A Scam

Hey how’s it going?

I’m guessing you’re probably here because you want to know is Oneopinion a scam or a legit site that can help make you some extra money online right?

Well within my review I’ll be discussing how this platform works, how much you can expect to make from it, and discuss some red flags I found along the way.

So with that said, let’s jump right into things here!

Quick Summary Of Oneopinion

What Is Oneopinion?

Oneopinion is an online platform that lets you earn money testing out products and answering surveys on various topics.

It’s owned by a company called Critical Max, which as I just said is looking for people to try out new products to see what they think about them.

They say their main goal is for you to earn money quickly by having interesting surveys for you to do each and every day.

But are their surveys really interesting, and more importantly can you make a good income from doing them?

Well I can’t say if their products or surveys are fun to do, because everyone has a different taste — however I will tell you that you won’t make a lot of money through this platform.

How Does Oneopinion Work?

As I just mentioned, the way Oneopinon works is by you answering surveys then getting paid once you complete them.

In fact, their “simple 3 step” process is as follows…

  1. Sign up
  2. Take surveys
  3. Get paid

Is Oneopinion A Scam - how it works

So of course the first thing you’ll have to do is sign up to this platform before you can even get started.

And luckily the process is very easy, as you simply have to give an automated robot your name, email address, birth date, gender, and other common questions like this.

Now once you’ve completed the questions, they say it will take 3 – 5 to business days to look over your application.

Also when signing up, you’ll have to prove that you’re over 18 years old — or that you’re at least 13 with your parent’s consent that you can use their website.

So assuming that you’ve signed up and got accepted to use this platform, you can now enter into the member’s area and start making money.

And there are two ways you’ll go about doing this.

  • By answering surveys

As you probably guessed, you’ll be answering surveys ranging from 5 – 30 minutes long on various topics.

  • Testing out products

And here, you’ll be given products that are not even out on the market to test out. You’ll basically give your opinion on what you liked, what you didn’t like, and if you found any flaws with the item.

How Much Can You Make?

Oneopionon uses a point system when determining how much money they want to give you — whether it be doing surveys or testing out products.

And for every 1,000 points you earn = $1.00

So with that said, here’s the amount of money you can expect to earn from both activities.

With surveys, you can expect to make on average $1 – $5 dollars for each one you do. But there are times that you can earn nothing ( I’ll explain more in a second ) — and there are times you can earn $10 or more.

Testing products:

After you’ve tested a product out and given a review on what you think about it, you can earn all the way up to $50 per item.

Although this method is more time consuming ( as you have to receive and ship the product back and forth, plus give a review ) — it is the fastest method for making money on this platform.

Now once you’ve earned 25,000 points, you can then cash out these points either through your Paypal account, a gift card, or a visa card.

Of course the fastest method is going to be sending the money to a Paypal account because a visa card usually takes 1 – 2 weeks to arrive at your house.

Oneopinion Red Flags

Be Prepared To Get Rejected From Surveys

One of the major drawbacks to this platform ( and most survey sites in general ) — is that you can get rejected from surveys with no warning whatsoever.

This can happen before you start the survey, while you’re taking it, or after you’ve spent up to half an hour doing it.

Now if you get rejected from a survey before you begin it, this usually means that it’s already full.

But if you are getting disqualified at the end of the survey, it usually means you are not the type of person they are looking for — so they will kick you out and look for someone that is more “qualified” for the particular survey.

Either way, it’s very annoying when this happens because you can waste a lot of time and end up making nothing.

Sometimes They’re No Surveys To Do

When I was looking at reviews on Survey Police about this company, many people who had been members of this platform for a while said that the number of surveys available on this site had slowly declined over the years.

Is Oneopinion A Scam - Not many surveys

Of course this is also another common issue you’ll always deal with — because if companies are not looking for feedback / opinions, then there will be no surveys to give out.

So be prepared to face the possibility of logging into this site and seeing nothing to do if you want to try this platform out.

Accounts being locked out for no reason

Then last but not least, another member who had been with this company for several years said that when they reached the $25 cashout requirement the company said they had broken the rules and locked them out of their account.

Again this is something I saw several people complaining about as I was reading through the reviews.

Now why Oneopinon is doing this I can’t say for sure, but when multiple accounts are getting locked out for no reason this is not a good sign.

Is Oneopinion A Scam?

At the end of the day, Oneopinon is not a scam because you can earn points / money by doing surveys and testing out products like they said you could.

However with multiple people complaining about getting locked out of their accounts, getting rejected from their surveys, and more — I don’t think this is a good opportunity to join.

But if you are someone that really loves doing activities like this and want to find a company thats worth joining — I highly recommend you check out Swagbucks.

They are similar to Oneopion, but they have A LOT more activities you can choose from and the amount of money you can make is slightly more and the cash out is quicker too.

What I Like About It

  • You can earn a few points even if you get disqualified from a survey
  • You don’t have to pay money to join it
  • The points you make will be deposited immediately into your account

What I Don’t Like About It

  • The number of surveys on this platform seems to be decreasing each year
  • A lot of people are getting disqualified from surveys
  • Many people are getting kicked out of their accounts with no explanation as to why
  • The cashout is pretty high at $25 dollars
  • There’s no affiliate / referral program

My Final Thoughts

Even though Oneopinon seems like a legit program, there seem to be so many complaints going on with it that I would not recommend you join this opportunity.

And on top of that, do you really want to spend hours and each day just to earn a few bucks?

I know I sure don’t and is the very reason why I’ve chosen affiliate marketing to make money online.

Unlike this site here, I can talk about subjects I like ( such as sports or technology ) — and earn a passive income in the process.

And the best part is there’s no limit to the amount I can make.

So if you think you might want to try this method out rather than doing surveys all day — I’d suggest you check out my #1 recommended product.

It gives you all the tools you need to be successful, 24/7 support, up to date training, and best of all is you can try it out completely for free.

  1. Hi Michael,

Thank you for sharing this in-depth review of Oneopinion. Frankly speaking, l never was a fan of survey sites.

l don’t know why, but almost every survey I do always gets blocked. The reason they give me is that l have answered the surveys poorly although my account with them is usually new. I understand how frustrating it can be when your survey is being disqualified after spending so much time answering them.

I completely agree with you that answering surveys will only earn you pennys and waste of time.

l rather spending my time doing affiliate marketing which will allow me to earn a passive income as long as I work hard.

Great read and wishing you all the success.

    • This is probably my main reason for not doing surveys as well Chris, in that the amount of money you make on them is not worth my time.

Because as I mentioned in my review, you can spend easily 4 – 6 hours a day doing surveys and only walk away with a few bucks.

And what makes it worst is that surveys give you no way to earn a passive / growing income. You’re basically trading time for money ( like a normal job ) — but for way less pay!

So personally speaking whenever someone comes up to me and ask what’s a good way to generate an income online I tell them surveys are not the answer.
