What Is Five Minute Profit Sites?

Five Minute Profit Sites claims to be a point and click software app that can make you a lot of money and very fast.

In fact Sam Smith (the spokesperson for their sales video) says this software can build you a money generating website in under 5 minutes and 17 clicks — hence where they got their name.

And while this may sounds like an amazing opportunity on the surface, the real truth is that this system was created just to take your money and nothing else.

Now don’t get me wrong I’m sure there “system” can build you a website in 5 minutes, because I can build one in 45 seconds thanks to this program here — however this alone will not make you money.

You see in order to build a money generating site, you have to create one full of rich and original content in order to attract people and sell products — yet this system here says they know a “shortcut” to make thousands of dollars with just a few simple clicks.

And just to prove to you that I’m not making this up, let me show you how their system supposedly works.

How Does Five Minute Profit Sites Work?

As I just mentioned, Five Minute Profit Sites works by creating you a one-page website or a squeeze page in just 5 short minutes that is this supposed to make you money.

Sam claims that you’ll be making money from a completely new and unseen industry that is worth billions of dollars a year — which you later come to find out is affiliate marketing.

Now don’t get me wrong affiliate marketing is an amazing method to make money online, but it IS NOT something new that hardly anyone knows about.

You can read in my previous post here how ordinary people were able to make 4-6 figures a year online all thanks to affiliate marketing. BUT they worked very hard to achieve this success, and definitely did not buy some 40 dollar product to get to where they are now.

However Five Minute Profits says they know this shortcut that will allow you to make a ton of money in 7 simple steps.

How Five Minute Profit Sites works

1. Create an account with Clickbank

2. Go back to their software and enter your Clickbank’s name into it

3. Choose a pre made domain name for your website

4. Sign up to Aweber (an email service provider)

5. Copy your Aweber account into their system

6. Follow their “simple steps” to drive traffic to your site

7. Collect your earnings

Now don’t you think if making money online were this easy everyone would be quitting their jobs and doing it?

I know I sure would.

But again this is just a blatant lie and the creator of this product made it to scam people out of their hard-earned money so that he could become richer and you become poorer.

Some Other Major Problems With This Product

Five Minute Profits has so many things wrong with it that I could write another entire post about this alone. So instead I’m going to highlight 4 main problems I came across while reviewing it.

1. They Don’t Tell You How You’ll Be Getting Traffic

The main problem I have with this product is that they never explain how you’ll be getting traffic to your website.

They simply say follow some “simple steps” once your inside their members area, and you’ll have thousands of visitors coming to your site letting you earn fast and consistent money.

And honestly this worries me a lot, because one of the hardest parts about affiliate marketing is learning how to get traffic — and this product just simply says “don’t worry it’s easy to get visitors to your site once you become a member.”

However I can tell you that the only way to get high quality traffic to a website is to either get ranked within the search engines or pay for it. And since you can’t rank a one-page website within Google, your only option is to buy the traffic (which can get very costly)!

So if you do buy this product, just get ready to lose a ton of money because whatever they teach you is simply not going to work period.

2 – They Lie About Their System Being Free

Throughout the entire sales video they claim you’ll be getting a free license to use their software if you simply give them your email address.

However you quickly find out that they want you to pay $37 dollars to help cover their hosting cost (which is where your website will be).

But wait there’s more…

On top of that, you’ll also be bombarded with 4 other upsells which is supposed to help you make money with their system

As you can see within the pic, if you purchased every one of these products it would cost you a total of $618 dollars! And to make matters worst, these upsell products are only there to help the owner get richer and will in no way help you make money online.

Also lets not forget that you will have to be paying for traffic and also more then likely pay for the Aweber email service provider — which as I mentioned earlier can also get quite costly.

3. It Encourages You To Promote Other Scams Online

During the sales video, they show you how their system works and what kind of products you should sell to your customers in order to make money.

Now I’ve always been a firm believer is selling products that ACTUALLY WORK, so that I can help people actually solve the problems they are dealing with.

However Five Minute Profits sites encourages you to promote scams such as the AZ Code, Automated Income Sites, and Kindle Sniper.

So right from the get go that they are teaching you to run an unethical website — and further more you WILL NOT be making money this way because anyone that does purchase these products will be wanting a return the same day they get it.

4. They Give You Unrealistic Expectations

From the very second you land on this products sales page, you are presented with nothing but very hyped up and misleading information on what it takes to earn a real income online.

First off their title saying you can make up to $519 / day with a website you built in 5 minutes is a complete lie.

I say this because you either have to spend a lot of money on paid traffic (which is probably not going to convert) — or you need to create a ton of helpful content so it can get ranked within the search engines (which usually take several months to do).

Secondly they show you some screen shots of their Clickbank account before and after using FMPS to show you that it “actually works”.

However this can easily be faked, or its simply where the owner launched a product and made a few quick sales. It IS NOT made from using this piece of garbage software that only cost $37 bucks.

So Is Five Minute Profit Sites A Scam?

I would say without a doubt that Five Minute Profit Sites in indeed a scam.

Between them saying you’ll be getting their software for free (which is a lie), and your website easily being able to make you over $500 dollars a day (which is also a lie) — I see no benefit what so ever you can get out of this product.

As I’ve mentioned a few times already, this product was created for only purpose — which is to make the creator money by scamming un expecting people out of their money.

What I Like About It

  • You’ll get a 60-day free risk trial if you buy this product
  • It gives you a general description on how affiliate marketing works, which can be a good way to make money online (if done correctly)

What I Don’t Like About It

  • The whole sales video and product is very hyped up and misleading
  • Lots of hidden up sells once you become a member
  • They encourage you to promote scams to make money
  • The only way you can get traffic to your site is if you pay money for it

My Final Rating

0 out of 5 ( Not recommended )

Nowadays It’s actually quite easy to build websites, and as a matter of fact you can create a very good-looking one in just a few minutes like FMPS says within their sales video.

However making money with that website through affiliate marketing is NOT something that can be done within 5 minutes and using some “secret loophole” like this product claims you can do.

In order to generate an income online that you can count on month after month, you have to follow a proven step by step method, be using the right tools, and have a place you can ask for help when you have a question.

And out of everything I’ve come across online, this program here can provide you with all of this and more.

They will show you how to build a REAL website, attract REAL visitors, and sell REAL products to help people out. And best of all you can try their system out completely for free without the use of a credit card!

  1. You obviously have some very strong feelings about this system/product. I am generally very leery of anything that promises money without work. In my experience, life just doesn’t really play out quite so simple.

I can appreciate your candor about this product, especially since you have found other systems that you do find legitimate. I am new to the world on online business opportunity and am currently looking at options. I’ll be sure to steer clear of this one!

    • Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment Kelly.

I do tend to get pretty passionate within my reviews — especially when I know for a fact that the product I am writing about is a scam out to steal people’s money.

You see when you have a proven method on how to earn an income online, making money while doable is still not easy — but when you’re presented with scam after scam it makes learning how to make money online basically impossible.

That’s why you see people jump from one product to the next, hoping that they will find a secret or loophole to earn thousands of dollars almost overnight.

But I’ll tell you right now that they’ll never find this, because it doesn’t exist.

So my advice to you Kelly is to find a legitimate program that offers real training and support — then work hard to become successful online.

Otherwise you’ll be like the majority of people online trying to find the latest and greatest opportunity to get rich fast — but end up losing thousands of dollars in the process.

  2. I have seen many of those, hell I have been scammed by one of them.

These get rich quick schemes that want to make you a instant millionaire are only scams meant to make you poor — but for their owners they are doing very well after stealing millions from unsuspecting  people.

    • Hey Charles I’m sorry to hear that your were a victim of an online scam in your past, and your right that many of these programs are out to just steal people’s money and make the product creators more wealthy.

It seems though you have a good eye on what is and is not a scam now, so I hope find a legitimate online opportunity in the future instead of falling for another scam like Five Minute Profits here.

  3. I think everyone when we have sought training to build an online business, at some point have been scammed by sites like Five Minute Profit Sites for our naivete – or self-inflicted blindness – to believe the idea that wealth can be generated from nothing, almost instantly. It’s a bit like playing the lottery.

The problem is that many people with great potential who could have benefited from a good training program in the development of an online business, end up frustrated and abandoning ahead of time.

    • I couldn’t agree more Tommy.

Many people out there truly just want to learn a simple way to generate some extra cash online, and aren’t afraid of working hard to achieve it.

However there’s so many scams and sub par products out there promising riches overnight, that they eventually think the whole internet marketing thing is a lie and give up.

However I can assure you that there are a few programs like Wealthy Affiliate that will teach people step by step how a online business works, what you need to do in order to become successful, and won’t charge you an arm and a leg for it.

I just hope people will realize this and not give up on their dreams building a business of their own.

  4. Thank you for this review.  We need more education for the newbies so that we can steer them away from the scams out there and send them in the direction of the opportunities that are actually honest, and legit.

I think we all need to work together and get to the newbies before the scammers do.  How do we do that?  We do exactly what you are doing.  We have to write content like this and add it to our websites.

    Once again great article.

It’s true that if more people made YouTube channels and websites revealing these products for what they really are “scams” — then less people would fall victim to them.

Because I always tell people do to their own research and not just take the word of just one person or buy something on the fly — but to look at several different reviews and see what they all have to say about a particular product to make sure it’s legit.

  5. So many scams out there, they all barely get away with the “you can make money” idea, which is only true after you’ve expended yourself jumping through all their misshaped hoops.

I only just found out that this specific one promotes OTHER scams, that is just completely awful.

I’m glad I ran into Wealthy Affiliate, because they do not say anything about get rich quick scams. It all depends on the amount of work you put in, and the community there is nothing short of excellent and kind.

What do you think is a realistic amount of time for income to start showing once someone joins?

Thanks for sharing and exposing yet another scam that I can not believe exists out there.

    • The time it takes to make money after you join Wealthy Affiliate varies from one person to the next, because you have to factor what niche you’re going after, what keywords your using, how your writing your content, and several other things.

On average though, if you are writing content on a regular basis (2-3 times a week) you usually can start to see good results and money within about 6 months.

Of course I’ve seen people make money within just a couple weeks after joining, and I’ve seen where it took people over a year to start making money.

But the one thing that is true is that I’ve NEVER seen anyone fail in the program that gave up. 🙂

  6. It never stops to amaze me at the length some humans will go to get money. The problem here in lies that they would not be doing it if they were not making a buck at these deceptions.

It is reviews like yours that inevitably is the consumers first defense from scrupulous “webmasters” prying on folks looking for a way to make money with this new wave of technology we call the internet. I have been working at it myself for 10 years and have seen my fair share of these bottom feeders. Your review was received as well researched and spot on. Good Job!

    • Thanks for your comment Paul, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

I hope that with time more of these scams will get shut down so that people can learn from a legitimate company on how to truly make an income online.

One good rule people should go buy when determining if a product is worth buying or not, is if it sounds too good to be true — then 99% of the time it is a scam.
